Agastya Kriya Yoga

The original purpose of Kriya is to purify the subtle channels to calm the mind. The Shandilyo Upanishad says, "When the nadis are purified, the prana enters the central column (shushumna) with force and the mind becomes tranquil."
After many years of daily Kriya practice and teaching, Babaji gradually led me to gurus and teachers of other Kriya lineages as well. The initiation, training and practice of the kriyas of each of them gave me a deeper understanding of the principle of unity in diversity, a core theme of the great Sathguru Babaji. These lineages included those of both LahiriMayasaya and Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh. I discovered that Babaji is undoubtedly the source of all these Kriya paths.
Kriya Yoga Leads to Babaji Consciousness
The ancient One, Babaji, speaks from the innermost source of silence; the healing primordial sound resounds from the depths. He whispers the mystical wisdom that knowledge of the Self, once attained, cannot be lost or stolen. Its presence is beyond the reach of culture, ideology, race and religion. It transcends environment, sense impressions and all mental changes. It is the only thing that frees us from the agonizing pain of the karma of past actions. It is the bliss-filled oasis of light that is the inevitable eternal resting place in the pilgrimage of every soul.
Benefits
Kriya Yoga leads to striking radiance and increased vital energy. It is undoubtedly an extremely effective practice for promoting lung health. Nevertheless, Kriya Yogis understand it as their proper right path to inner bliss, Samadhi, the birthright of every soul. These techniques enable the yogi to contact Babaji directly.
is an ancient meditation technique that is also part of a comprehensive spiritual path. It is an effective technique that works directly with the source of growth - the spiritual energy deep within our spine.

All yoga techniques work with this energy, mostly indirectly. Yoga postures, for example, can help open the spinal channels and balance the energy in the spine. Yoga breathing exercises or pranayama can help awaken this energy.

The Kriya technique is much more direct. It helps the practitioner control the life force by mentally pulling it up and down the spine with awareness and will. According to Yogananda, one kriya lasting about half a minute is equivalent to one year of natural spiritual growth

The Practices
Trainees will be initiated in these powerful secret practices that have been passed down from teacher to student for generations. These techniques were gifted to humanity directly from Mahavatar Babaji, the mystical Himalayan Sat Guru who revived and imparted Kriya Yoga in this age.

Maharishi Agastya

Agastya is considered to be the father of Siddha medicine, Rishi Agastya is considered as the first and foremost Siddha (knowledge and accomplishments),and therefore the guru of many Siddhars.
Rishi Agastya made pioneering contributions to the field of Ayurveda (alternative medicine) and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology particularly Nadi Astrology). Rishi Agastya lived for over 5000 years, and one of his medicinal preparations, BoopathiKuligai, was so powerful that it could even bring the dead back to life.
He is one of the seven or eight most revered rishis in the Vedic texts, and is revered as one of the Tamil Siddhar in the Shaivism tradition, who invented an early grammar of the Tamil language,
Agastya Samhita-
Sage Agastya composed a book called ‘Agastya Samhita’. There is a lot of discussion about this book. Surprisingly, the sources related to power generation are found in this book.
Sage Agastya’s accomplishment as one of India’s oldest and wisest Rishis is surprising that shows the prosperous history and culture of India. We are unaware of the information provided in our Puranas, while the Western countries have followed our Puranas for carrying out all major inventions. We should read our Vedas and know how the Indian Rishi’s were having a treasure of knowledge and had done inventions much before any other country.

Mahavatar Babaji

The origins of today's forms of Kriya Yoga can be traced back to LahiriMahasaya, who is said to have received initiation into yoga techniques from an elusive, immortal Indian yogi saint commonly referred to as Mahavatar Babaji
Who is Babaji? Like God Himself, He transforms Himself into the forms that the devotee holds dear. He also dwells in the formless forms, such as in the great tradition of monism expounded by AdiShakaracharya (whom he initiated). In his ecstasy, Babaji once demonstrated his mastery of the Advaita Vedanta path when he literally described his consciousness to his chosen disciples V.T.N and Yogiar as follows.
"I am existence-knowledge-bliss absolute. I am the absolute and supreme Self, both within and beyond finitude. I am the Truth, eternal and everlasting. I am the only one, all within myself: No one exists apart from me, in and through all that exists. I am always the All-Existence itself. I am the unchanging one in the midst of all changes. I am the formless in all forms ... I am the living ocean of ecstasy, raging and surging and storming wildly, pressing down the earth and the heavens. I beat in every breast, see in every eye, throb in every pulse, smile in every flower, shine in the lightning and roar in the thunder. I flutter in the leaves, I hiss in the winds, and I roll in the surging seas. I am the wisdom of the wise, the strength of the strong, the heroism of the heroes. I am the impersonal personality of the entire universe. I am the infinite, the eternal and the immortal Self. Truth emanates from me as light emanates from the sun and fragrance emanates from a flower; I am the unchanging and indescribable Atman, the dynamic principle of existence and the infinite ocean of eternal conciseness."
